I had the privilege of working with 60+ Men’s NCAA Division 1 soccer programs over the last 2 years to create a truly unique day in the life series that covers the entirety of the American collegiate system. Massive thank you to all the players, coaches and schools who made my vision a reality. I hope the series will provide aspiring professionals with an inside look as to whether college soccer is the right decision for them. There has been one decision in my life that has drastically altered the course of my existence. It was a choice I thought when I first made it, I would live to regret for the rest of my life. I was sitting next to my parents some 4 odd years ago, looking down at a piece of paper that was in front of me. This piece of parchment was littered with sentences I could hardly understand or interpret at the time, but what I did comprehend were 2 very simple words, “Athletes Signature”.
Let me start this article off by saying this is not an all-encompassing list of skills you need to master in order to play college soccer. There are many different routes athletes take to play at the collegiate level. There are no perfect paths that can guarantee you a place on a distinguished soccer program.
Pursuing a college degree takes a tremendous amount of time, energy and money. But what if you could avoid the painstaking process of paying thousands of dollars for tuition every semester?
We are living in an age where technology has permitted the most underprivileged individuals to realize dreams never once achieved before. The vast opportunities this world provides are at the disposal of every single citizen who has the ability to access an Internet connection. Just two decades ago these ambitions and aspirations which drive our human existence were once perceived as impossible.
